Likee has two in-app "coins", and mixing them up is the most common beginner question. Diamonds are the currency you buy with real money to send gifts to your favorite creators during live streams. Beans are what a creator receives from the gifts sent to them and what can be cashed out into real money. Simply put: viewers spend Diamonds, creators collect Beans.
How to get Diamonds
Viewers need Diamonds to support creators. You can get them like this:
- Buy them with real money right in the app via the top-up section.
- Sometimes — receive them as a reward for taking part in platform promotions and tasks.
Diamonds are then exchanged for virtual gifts — roses, crowns, cars — that you send to a live stream host. The pricier the gift, the more Diamonds it costs.
How Beans accumulate and convert
When a viewer sends a creator a gift, Beans appear on the creator's balance. This is the "income" currency. Accumulated Beans can be:
