Are there channels on Likee
There is no separate "channel" entity on Likee the way there is on Telegram or YouTube — and that is exactly why the word causes so much confusion. Users call their profile a channel: the page that holds all their videos, followers, likes and bio. Less often a channel means a house — a group of creators under one name. Below we cover both: how to create, rename and delete them.
How to create your channel on Likee
A channel in the sense of "creator profile" appears right after sign-up, but an empty page with no setup will not keep viewers. Here is the order:
- Install the app and register with your phone number or a linked social account.
- Open the profile tab and tap "Edit profile".
- Set an avatar — a large face or a recognisable logo works best, small details are unreadable in the feed.
- Set the channel name and the unique ID people will search you by.
- Fill in the bio: what your videos are about and why someone should follow you.
After that the channel is live — all that is left is to post the first videos in one consistent style so the page looks coherent.
How to create a house — a channel for several people
If by channel you mean a shared space for several creators, what you need is a house. You create it from the community section of the app: pick a name, a cover and invite members by their nickname. A house is convenient for joint activity — challenges, mutual views, shared live streams. Platform requirements change over time: sometimes house creation is available only to accounts with a certain level or follower count, so if the button is missing, grow the profile first.
How to change the channel name
The name is edited in the same place, in profile settings:
- Open your profile and tap "Edit profile".
- Tap the name field and type the new one.
- Save — the change is visible immediately.

How to delete a channel on Likee
Deleting a channel means deleting the whole account — there is no separate "delete channel" button. It is done from profile settings, in the account management section. The platform usually gives you a waiting period: if you log in during that time, deletion is cancelled. Once the period ends, videos, followers and chats are gone for good. Keeping a new channel from staying empty
The algorithm shows a fresh channel cautiously: the videos have no history and the feed does not know who to offer them to. What helps is the same as on any platform — regular posting, a clear topic and real reactions under the first videos. To keep new videos from sitting at zero, they are given some reach at the start: Likee views and followers delivered gradually help a channel pass the first algorithm check and reach a live audience.
