Why access to an account is lost
There aren't many reasons to lose access to Likee, and the recovery method depends on the reason. Most often it's: a forgotten password, changing or losing the phone number the profile is linked to, logging out on a new device without saved data, or a hack. A separate case — you deleted the account yourself and changed your mind. Let's cover each option.
Recovery by phone number or email
If the profile is linked to a phone or email, this is the fastest route:
- On the login screen choose the sign-in method — by number or email.
- Enter the linked number/address and request a confirmation code.
- Enter the code from the SMS or email.
- Set a new password if the system prompts you.
The main condition is access to that exact number or email. If the SMS doesn't arrive, check that you entered the number in the right format and wait a couple of minutes before requesting again.
Social login and password reset
Many people register on Likee via Google, Facebook or another service. Then no separate password is needed — just tap sign in via the same social network and the profile loads. If you logged in with a username and simply forgot the password, use the Forgot password? link on the login screen and reset it through your linked contact.
What to do if the phone number is lost
The hardest situation is when the linked number is no longer yours and there are no other login options. Then contacting Likee support is what's left. Describe the problem, provide your unique ID (@username), the approximate registration date and any details proving the account is yours. The more evidence, the higher the chance access is restored.
How to get a recently deleted account back
If you deleted the profile yourself but little time has passed since, there's a chance. While the account is in the deletion queue (within the platform's grace period), logging back in usually cancels the deletion — just sign in again. Account recovered — how to quickly rebuild activity
After a long break reach usually drops: algorithms "forget" inactive profiles. To bring videos back into recommendations it's important to start posting regularly again and give the first clips an initial push. A small boost of Likee views and followers helps warm up the account after downtime and return it to the recommendations feed faster.
If you couldn't regain access after all, the option left is to start a second account on Likee and move your activity there.
