How to block someone on Likee from your phone

Blocking on Likee is done from the user's profile and takes a few taps. The order is as follows:

If the person messaged you directly, you can block them straight from the chat: open the conversation, tap the menu in the top right corner and choose blocking. That is quicker when you would rather not look up the nickname and the message is already sitting in your inbox.

A block is tied to an account, not to a person. If they come back from another profile, the restriction does not apply to it.

What happens after you block someone

A blocked user loses access to your content and to every way of contacting you. Specifically:

The app sends no separate notification, but you cannot hide the block either: when they try to visit your profile they will see that the page is unavailable. Your videos stay where they are and keep being shown to everyone else — blocking one user does not affect your reach.

Where the block list is and how to unblock

All blocked accounts are gathered in one place — in your profile settings, in the privacy section that holds the block list. From there a block is lifted with a single button next to the nickname. The second way is to open the person's profile and lift the restriction through the same top-right menu you used to block them.

One important detail: mutual follows are not restored after unblocking. The person will not return to your followers automatically — if you want that, they have to follow again. Likes and comments hidden during the block usually become visible once more.

How to remove a follower without blocking

Blocking is a last resort and it is noticeable. Gentler options are often enough:

When there are many unpleasant accounts, it makes more sense to close the profile entirely rather than block each one — how that works and what privacy costs you is covered in a private account on Likee.

When you need a report rather than a block

Blocking removes a person from your view but does not penalise them. If the issue is harassment, threats, spam or your content posted under someone else's name, file a report: it goes to moderation, and confirmed violations get the account restricted or banned by the platform itself. A report is sent from the same profile menu or from under a specific video or comment.

It helps to know what the platform punishes on its own — then it becomes clear which report will work and which will not. The rules and typical reasons for restrictions are broken down in what gets you banned on Likee. And if you unexpectedly got restricted yourself, see how to unblock a Likee account.

What to do if blocking hurts your profile growth

There is a flip side: the more actively you clean up your audience, the less engagement remains — and engagement is exactly what Likee measures, through likes, comments and watch time in the first hours after publishing. A profile that lost half its followers sees weaker starting reach, and that is normal.

It recovers through ordinary work: regular posting, replies in comments, taking part in trends. If you want reach back faster, we offer Likee views and likes — by a link to a video or profile, with no account password. In fact you should never enter your password on third-party sites, even ones promising to «bring your followers back».
