How to delete a single video

Deleting one video is done straight from your profile and takes seconds:

The video disappears from the profile immediately, together with its likes, views and comments.

Save the video before deleting

Deletion on Likee is irreversible: neither the app nor support can bring a clip back. If no source file is left in your gallery, the only chance to keep the video is exporting it before deletion. How to do that is covered in how to download videos from Likee. Even if you no longer like the clip, keep the file: old footage often comes in handy for cuts and compilations.

How to delete several videos at once

When you need to clear not one clip but half the profile, a bulk mode is more convenient. The profile usually offers video management where clips are ticked and deleted in a batch with one confirmation. If your app version lacks that mode, you delete them one by one through each video's menu — slower, but the result is the same. Bulk cleaning is most often needed when changing the channel topic, since old clips confuse the algorithm about who to show you to.

Hide instead of deleting

In many cases deletion is excessive. If a clip simply does not fit the current profile feed, you can hide it: the video stays in the account, remains available to you and disappears from the public profile. The key difference from deletion is reversibility: a hidden video comes back with one tap, a deleted one never does. The same trick fits when you want to tuck away old clips temporarily without losing their stats.

What to do if the video will not delete

Sometimes the delete button does not work: the clip stays in the profile or returns after restarting the app. The simple fixes usually help — update the app to the current version, check your connection and repeat the action. If the clip is still visible, log out and back in: the app may have been showing a cached state rather than the real profile. How to log back in properly is described in how to log into a Likee account.

After cleaning the profile

Bulk deletion almost always hits reach: the profile suddenly has far less content and the algorithm takes time to reassess. That is normal and passes if you keep posting on one topic. To keep new videos from sitting at zero after a clean-up, they are given starting reach: Likee views and likes delivered gradually help a refreshed profile return to impressions.
